Your account

Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account. One person per account.

Plans and billing

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial; you won't be charged if you cancel before it ends. You can change or cancel your plan anytime from the Account page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for. [REFUND POLICY].

Values are estimates

Prices come from Discogs and are estimates only, not appraisals or offers to buy. Always check real sales before buying or selling.

Acceptable use

Don't upload anything illegal or that you don't have the right to upload, and don't try to break, overload or access parts of the service that aren't yours.

Your content

Your photos and library stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service for you.

Photos you share with the community

Photos you add to your tapes (for example spine, J-card and cassette photos) help other collectors, so we may add them to a shared photo library that other users can pick from. By adding a photo, you give [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, copy, display, adapt (for example crop, rotate or resize) and share that photo as part of TapeMatch, including in the shared library. This continues if you later delete the photo or your account.

Only add photos you took yourself or have the right to share. Shared photos show the tape, never your name, email, notes, locations or the rest of your library. If you see a shared photo that shouldn't be there, contact us and we'll remove it.

Trading and messages

Unless you turn it off in Account › Trading, other collectors can see the titles of your loose J-cards and cassettes, with your display name, so you can find trades. Messages you send go to the person you write to. We read a conversation only if someone reports it, to keep the community safe. Trades are between you and the other collector; we're not part of them and aren't responsible for what's sent or received. Don't use messages for spam, harassment or scams; we may suspend accounts that do.

The service

We work to keep TapeMatch available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is". [LIMITATION OF LIABILITY]. We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes by email.
